About the Department
The department of mathematics was established in the year 2000 with under graduate programme. The Department consists of Two teaching staff with their interests lying in Algebra, Graph Theory, Complex Analysis, Operator Theory and Applied Mathematics.The Department has been producing exemplary results right from its inception. The department is constantly concentrating on the overall development of students. So far 18 batches of UG students have successfully finished their courses. The Department aims to create a solid foundation for the assimilation of mathematical concepts and structures and build mathematical skills like creative, logical and analytical thinking. Software such as Mathematica is used to increase the understanding of the fundamental mathematical concepts. It has a vibrant Society ,Our college that promotes student’s interests in the subject by organizing activities with their enthusiastic involvement. Strength of our Department is Coordination among faculty members and students and good results.

To be among the best Mathematics departments in the district and to establish a reputation as a centre for learning and teaching in Mathematics. Considering needs of the present generation we have to adopt technologies to reach in the newer heights so that our students can cope-up with other students of various institutions in India and abroad.
Mission
- To make students aware of technology to explore mathematical concepts through activities and experimentation
- To provide strong mathematical foundation analytical and computational skills and abstract understanding to young under graduate mathematics students which enable them to handle any industrial and research problems.
- To train professionals in the education of mathematics at all levels.
- To create computer software and mathematical modeling to cater to the growing needs of industries /research establishments
- To provide the opportunity for students to concentrate in Mathematics to study related fields.
